Satire: Man Figures Out What’s So Sad About #DezNat

It’s is Christian for me, not thee, to judge.

Hey! I just realized what’s so sad about #DezNat. They think they can be better Mormons by being less Christian.

Of course, by “Christian” I am referring to the fact that #DezNat frequently calls sin bad and frequently talks about repentance – something Jesus avoided completely.

They’re always going on about “following the prophet,” but they totally ignore the nuance of the human experience. Take me for example. I “follow the prophet” by completely ignoring what he says. Like how he specifically asked us to use the name of the church as revealed by God himself instead of the term “Mormon.” It doesn’t really apply to me because I’m calling #DezNat bad, sinful, and in need of repentance – something Jesus did all the time.

Plus #DezNat is judgmental. If you’re the type of person who complains whenever President Oaks gets up to speak, or who calls the Family Proclamationmicro-aggression-filled-hate-speech,” they will never accept you. They are quick to point out that your views are wrong – something that Jesus never did.

I just want to point out that I’m not like that. I accept people, even if they think differently than I do. It doesn’t matter if you are progressive, or leftist, or communist, or exmo, or antimo, as long as you’re not DezNat because I will never accept them – and neither will Jesus.

Anyway, thanks for letting me get up here and share that… this is a nice podium you have here by the way… what do you call it? Oh… rameumptom? Sounds nice!
